Under the N.O.W. model, volunteers are organized into one
of three ministry areas:
-
Nurture
-
Outreach
-
Witness
Each area
has a set of subcommittees and responsibilities.
Nurture
The community if faith is God’s primary
agent of mission and change in the world. At Queen Anne, we are
focused on nurturing and assisting in life change. Our goal is to engage,
equip and empower each of our members. The teaching, preaching,
and worship at QAUMC is not solely for spiritual comfort or reassurance.
It is for encouraging us to grow ever more into the image of Jesus Christ.
Our community also desires to be an inviting and welcoming community
to others who seek to experience the grace of God in their lives.
Outreach
We are committed to reaching out to
those whom Jesus wants to touch, as God directs and empowers us. This
involves feeding, clothing and housing the poor. Queen Anne actively
participates in numerous outreach ministry projects throughout the year.
We share God’s love both within our church walls and beyond.
Witness
The Witness Team includes volunteers
working in the area of Marketing Communications, Hospitality, and Evangelism.
This team is involved in publicity of church events and programs, encouraging
discipleship, and advertising church activities and programs to the
surrounding community.
