Starting June 7th 2009, David Lukov
will lead a four-part series entitled “Disciplines to Enhance the
Faith.”.
The class will take place at 11:30 am immediately following worship in the chapel.
- Have you ever struggled to make faith “work”?
- Have you wanted to discover or rediscover tools that will enhance your relationship with Christ?
- Are you tired of the “ups” and “downs” in your life, and are seeking more consistency in your spiritual journey?
- Do you seek more depth, more breadth and more substance to your faith?
As a former pastor, hospice bereavement coordinator and
college instructor (and his current work and leadership with
Evergreen-Washelli), David will share his insights and reflections on
the disciplines that have greatly shaped his faith and the faith of
others.
The outline of the series and the spiritual disciplines we
will discuss is as follows:
June 7: Prayer
June 14: Study
June 21: Confession and forgiveness
June 28: Solitude
Each
session will be self-contained, so please feel free to attend even if
you can only attend one or two sessions.
